Arc is the cool older sibling at UNSW. We're obsessed with student life — because we know that some of the most memorable parts of university happen well outside the classroom. Our mission is to create the best student experience, and we do that through a huge range of opportunities and services, from clubs and sport to events and wellness. Working at Arc, you'll join a welcoming team of passionate people who believe in listening to students, working together, and always striving to be better. Plus there are plenty of perks along the way — cake, pickleball, Arc Wellness and heaps more.
We're looking for a Sport Engagement Coordinator (Clubs and EDI) to join our Arc Sport team and help shape a more inclusive, well-governed sporting community at UNSW.
Job Description
About the role
This role sits at the intersection of sport club governance and inclusion — two areas that are central to what Arc Sport is all about. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of sport club procedures and compliance, while also driving our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion programs and initiatives forward. From enhancing existing programs like She Can, to supporting clubs in embedding inclusive practices, this is a role for someone who cares about making sport accessible and welcoming for every student.
You'll also manage the sport club funding and grants process — assessing applications and administering allocations — so a comfort with budgets and financial processes will go a long way.
About you
You're organised, a strong communicator, and know how to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders. You can write and implement policies clearly, think creatively about how to improve processes, and bring genuine enthusiasm for the university sport environment. A background in Sport Management or a related field is desirable, as is experience in the university sport sector — but what matters most is your drive to make a difference.
