For over 70 years, Tharunka has been the voice of UNSW students. In 2024, Tharunka undertook a change process to ensure that it can continue telling UNSW student stories for 70 more. Following advice from Indigenous students, the student publication is undergoing a name change – but while we wait for the new name (and new Charter) we want to get back up and running. The Content Coordinator will solicit contributions from the UNSW community to to publish under the interim publication ‘New Name Loading’. They will recruit, train and work as an editor for student writers on news, features, reviews, satire, creative and more.
