About The Role
Volunteers United exists to connect UNSW students to non-profit organisations and create positive social impact. By providing diverse and accessible opportunities, students can find and impact things they are passionate about, develop their skills, and give back to the world around them. As a Volunteers United Officer, you will play an active part in sparking a passion for volunteering amongst students and fostering a community of volunteers through regular events and volunteering opportunities.
As the Volunteers United (Partners) Officer, you’ll be the bridge between UNSW students and non-profit organizations, building and maintaining relationships with diverse partners. Your role will focus on creating meaningful volunteer opportunities that support important causes and empower students to make a positive impact. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, a passion for supporting non-profit organisations, and a commitment to fostering connections that drive social change. If you’re eager to work with non-profit organistions and create opportunities for students to give back, this role is your way to make an impact!

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Partners Officer

Liaising with Non-Profit Partner organisations – recruit, provide support to, and maintain clear and regular communications with all partner organisations to fulfil the program objectives and enhance the external partner experience
The following tasks and accountabilities apply to both Volunteers United student officers:

Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, budgets, volunteer rosters, runsheets, and logistics for small scale events and executing them within set parameters.

Assist in the delivery of large-scale events such as Good Deed Days – including involvement in ideation, timelines, volunteer rosters, run sheets and logistics.

Communicate with external vendors collaborating with the program, including clubs and societies, UNSW departments, Not-For-Profit organisations etc.
