About The Role
In this exciting role, you'll be helping run events across Jacaranda Hall, UNSW Terraces, Barker Street and Cowper Street Apartments that spark connections and make living at UNSW feel like home. From puppy cuddles to craft sessions, you'll facilitate events that get everyone involved. Your mission is to create a space where students feel supported, energised, and connected with their peers, all while having a blast!
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, set-up and pack up of weekly events run at UNSW Apartments. This includes signage, and other relevant equipment, including the return of all equipment to their designated storage areas.
Facilitate good vibes and encourage connections between students.
Contribute to event logistics, such as crowd control, site clean-up and general problem solving.
Collaborate with the Apartment Engagement team to ensure smooth execution and seamless operations.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing Arc during events.
Comply with Arc Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policy and procedures to actively participate in the achievement of a safe working culture.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
SELECTION CRITERIA
Must be a current resident of Barker Street Apartments, Cowper Street Apartments, Jacaranda Hall or UNSW Terraces.
Current UNSW Student until at least the end of 2025
Excellent team player with good problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Regular and consistent availability throughout the UNSW term (Expected average: 5 hours/week to collect equipment, set up, execute, and pack down a weekly activity)
