This is a Full-Time role with an immediate start, with the contract ending in April, 2026. 

Job Description

THE ROLE

Working alongside the CEO this role will be instrumental in the success of the team along with the wider business. This role will deliver both the traditional remit as well as supporting and driving new projects and initiatives throughout the organisation. The mix will vary depending on the demands at any given time, but you will have lots of variety and challenges along the way. In a nutshell, the responsibilities include:

  • calendar and email management,
  • preparing reports and financial documents,
  • administration, research, proofreading and producing written content;
  • managing timelines and milestones,
  • managing and developing projects,
  • scheduling meetings, preparing documents and producing submissions.

You will also help out with our diverse portfolio of departments, this could mean anything from researching, copywriting, setting up for events or helping out at a BBQ for 1,000 hungry students (…ok this one is a definite).

Desired Skills and Experience

SELECTION CRITERIA

We are looking for a fantastic communicator with superior organisational skills, someone with drive, intelligence and a passion for delivering high quality support but someone who also knows how to have some fun! You will hopefully also have:

  •   3+ years experience providing high level administrative support
  •   Project experience (highly desirable)
  •   Advanced competency in Microsoft Office applications
  •   Excellent communication skills including the capacity to research, write, proof read and collate reports and submissions
  •   Strong planning & organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously
  •   A secret way of reminding staff about deadlines prior to them being due!
  •   The ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrating integrity, reliability and a professional attitude

Desirable

  •   Experience in the tertiary sector or not-for-profit sector
  •   Driver’s License
