Job Description
Arc boasts a range of student publications that drive student enrichment and engagement through readership, but also create opportunities for students to hone their craft as volunteers. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, and working alongside the marketing team, the Media & Publications Coordinator will be overseeing the creation, publication, and enhancement of the 3 key Arc publications:
(1) UNSWeeetened Literary Journal;
(2) Blitz Media Hub;
(3) Gamamari
This role is a 3-day per week, permanent role.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Oversee the recruitment, training and motivation of students involved in student publications

2. Amplify, elevate, and enrich the reach of Arc student publications
Drive their social media presence
Support their promotions across a range of channels
Find opportunities to enhance in line with curriculum
3. Supervise and enhance the experience of students in Work Integrated Learning (Student Placement) opportunities at Arc.
4. Connect publications to other Arc and UNSW operations like:
O-Week o Stress Less Week
5. Assist in other marketing operations and functions at Arc
Desired Skills and Experience
Selection Criteria
• Higher education in communications, PR, advertising arts or media
• Experience and aptitude in editing writing, podcasting and video
• Experience managing budgets, events, print publications and distribution logistics
• Experience training and supervising staff, students or volunteers
• Strong inclination to digital publications, online communications and exceptional user experiences
• An aptitude to work in the not-for-profit or education sector
