About The Role

The Bike-ology program provides a resource for people to learn and be assisted with performing maintenance on their bikes. This program helps both UNSW students who might be on a tight budget to obtain much-needed, potentially subsidised or cost price spare parts as well as promoting sustainability through cycling. If you are passionate about cycling, love the idea of guiding a team of volunteers to perform bike maintenance and are excited for a fast and flexible opportunity then apply now – we’ve been waiting for you!

Who are We?

Arc is UNSW’s student organisation. We like to call ourselves the cool older sibling. We know that the best parts of going to uni is all the stuff you do outside the classroom, and we pride ourselves on making that experience awesome. We do that through a huge range of opportunities and services available to students online and in-person. Working at Arc you’ll join a welcoming team of full of like-minded students, who believe in listening to students, working together and having fun between hard work. Work perks include professional development opportunities, the occasional work cake party, hot desk spaces, tickets to the Arc Annual Dinner, and more. But probably the best thing you’ll get out of working here are some friendships you’ll never forget.

Imposter Syndrome disclaimer: If you’re reading this thinking, ‘no way can I do this, I have no experience’, you should know that some of the best student coordinators at Arc applied when they had no experience. We took them on because we believe in giving people their first chance, and because they showed they had a willingness to learn, problem solve and try new things. You could be that person too.
