About The Role

Shape the student experience at UNSW! Work alongside a team of full-time and student staff to engage and develop the students of UNSW by supporting over 300 student-run Clubs. Help strengthen Arc’s events program with Arc-affiliated Clubs by coordinating events and initiatives, encouraging and elevating Club-run activities and through building relationships with the wider university population to ensure events run perfectly! If you’re looking to gain entry-level experience in assisting with events from conception to completion, all while enlivening the student experience (And having fun!), this is the place for you!

Who Are We?

Arc is UNSW’s student organisation. We know that the best parts of going to uni is all the stuff you do outside the classroom, and we pride ourselves on making that experience awesome. We do that through a huge range of opportunities and services available to students online and in-person. Working at Arc you’ll join a welcoming team of full of like-minded students, who believe in listening to students, working together and having fun between hard work. Work perks include professional development opportunities, the occasional work cake party, tickets to the Arc Annual Dinner, and more. But probably the best thing you’ll get out of working here are some friendships you’ll never forget.

Imposter Syndrome disclaimer: If you’re reading this thinking, ‘no way can I do this, I have no experience’, you should know that some of the best Clubs Officers at Arc applied when they had no experience. We took them on because we believe in giving people their first chance, and because they showed they had a willingness to learn, problem solve and try new things. You could be that person too.
